"Art is both the taking and giving of beauty; the turning out to the light the inner folds of the awareness of the spirit. It is the recreation on another plane of the realities of the world; the tragic and wonderful realities of earth and men, and of all the inter-relations of these."
~Ansel Adams

Murals and Large Paintings

These paintings do take much time and effort, but if you are looking for a mural, a faux finish, trompe l'oeil, or larger work of art, they can be created in your home or off site and mounted later. I will ship anywhere in the world.

"Your imagery is visionary yet mythic, timeless. The colors are out of a lucid dream. So much talent!" ~ Helena Nelson Reed, illustrator.

"Alicia, your work is simply stunning. The ability that you have to access your spirit and draw it forth into your work is simply a gift from the divine. I love the vibrancy of your vision, the colors, and symbols you utilize. You have brought life to the Gods in your paintings!  I urge people to consider owning a piece of Alicia Lyon Folberths art, as I'm sure it will enrich their life for years to come."

Artemis of the Moon, acrylic on Eucaboard 22" x 57"

Artemis, and the companion piece Apollo of the Sun were originally designed to be fired onto tile and the tile to flank a fireplace, colors were chosen to match the room. They are matching paintings. All the symbolism is intentional, as these are devotional pieces.
